SCHOOL PSYCHCARE
A PRE-PAID MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAM
INTRODUCTION:
In an effort at providing an attractive and cost-effective alternative to our office's traditional fee structure, we would like to present a unique prepaid program - School PsychCare. This prepaid plan provides a wide range of psychological/educational services with a ten to fifteen percent discount for all current fees. There is a fifteen percent discount (15%) on initial intake and counseling fees, and ten percent discount (10%) on all assessments. While the advantages of participation in School PsychCare are numerous, new clients are not obligated to participate. If this option is not utilized, our usual fees will apply.
HOW THE PLAN WORKS:
There is an annual fee of $1,950.00 for plan participation, which can generally be initiated at any point in your contact with us as a client (not for previously paid services). The annal fee is paid in full, by cash, check or credit card. You may then utilize the range of discounted services that you feel are needed for your child's home and school success. For example, our counseling fee (as of July,2010, is $170.00 an hour. As a plan participant ,you will pay an hourly fee of $144.50. If you choose to utilize the entire prepaid fee for counseling alone , you would have approximately 13.5 sessions available (a savings of approximately $340.00).
An additional example might be those families who would like their youngsters evaluated. While fees vary, a savings of up to $300.00 for assessments can be realized utilizing the plan. Again,all prepaid assessments are offered at a 10 % discount. A brief listing of office fees and discounted prepaid amounts may be found following this discussion.
During the course of the contract year we will monitor the services utilized and provide clients with receipts indicating available remaining funds. If you do not utilize the entire prepaid fee for the year, you will be able to carry over the unused portion for a three-month period, following the end of the contract year.
As you utilize services, you may submit the discounted amount ( receipts) to your insurance carrier for possible reimbursement .This may entitle you to additional savings. In essence, with insurance and discounted fees, your overall savings may be quite substantial.
Note again that while the initiation of the School PsychCare plan can occur at any time during your contact with our office, payments for counseling or assessments (partially or totally completed) prior to the plan's initiation are not, however, credited towards the plan.
